By train From Florence: take a train to Siena and get off in Certaldo. You may have a connection in Empoli, check out the schedule.   From Siena: catch a train to Florence and still get off in Certaldo (no other possible connections). From Pisa: first you need to get to Empoli and then take the train that goes to Siena and still get off in Certaldo.

At the station Give us a call and tell us when you arrive at the station and we'll be glad to pick you up there. If you wanna have a walk from there, just turn left from the station along the one way main road, after approximately 1.5 km. (passing the Supermarket Coop) you'll find "Via Fonda" on your left, walk through this way till you find our place on your left side.

Il Pianigiano - Via Piano di Sotto 89 - Certaldo (FI)

Certaldo is located between Florence and Siena but it's very easy to get here even from many other locations. You can come here by car but you can also decide to arrive by train since there is a very easily reacheable railway station right in the centre of the town. Here are some hints on how to get here from some neighbouring spots.

By car

      From Florence: Take the freeway to Siena (from A1 highway exit at Firenze Certosa).

      Exit at Poggibonsi Nord and follow the sign that says "Certaldo".

      Once in Certaldo drive on until you get to a roundabout (where there is a newsstand on the left side right before it), and turn left to Via Toscana. At the second roundabout turn right, and after about 1.00 km. turn left again into a very small road (pay attention to it), cross a bridge and then turn left once more. You'll see the sign of the B&B on your right side after a few hundred meters.

      From Siena: Take the freeway to Florence.

      Exit at Poggibonsi Nord and follow the sign that says "Certaldo".

      Exit at Empoli Ovest and follow the direction direction Siena.

      After you pass the sign that says "Certaldo" before the factory complex "Nencini & Masini" turn right and keep on driving on that road. Important: when you see the arrows sign, do not go left, but keep on going straight. After a few kilometers you'll see the sign of our B&B on your right.
